Earlier in the year we got together as a team and worked in groups to decide what sort of behaviours we would like to see at school, at home and in the community. Our parents and families wrote notes in our homework books about the great things we had done, which we showed to the daily recorder. Mr Knyn and Mrs Blithe talllied up the points to see who had won the prizes for this term. On Thursday 2nd July we had our Junior Neighbourhood Support prizegiving. Makayla was first, with Cassandra and Hannah Mc tying for second place. They all won vouchers to spend at The Warehouse (who were having a school holiday sale!!). Snr Sgt Mike Williams was particularly impressed with Chad, who had handed in a lighter that he found and also been honest when he found money on the floor at the disco. Well done, Chad - we are proud of you!Thank you to Constable McMellon,
Mr Wealleans and Mr Foote who helped organise JNS for us, and to Mr Cruden for coming along. We are learning how to be responsible citizens, which will help us to make sensible choices when we are older.
On Friday 25th September we held our prizegiving for term three. Hannah C, Cassandra and Taleah took first, second and third places respectively. They each won a certificate and vouchers to spend at The Warehouse. There were also 20 spot prizes awarded to others who had participated. Our thanks to Mr Foote and Mr Cruden who attended and helped award the prizes.
